Rust after cleaning

Just wanting to make sure I'm doing everything correctly Doug. So, after I cleaned the waffle set and cleaned it all up, got it dried, it started to rust a little bit. Well, our humidity has been pretty high here recently, but that's ok, because it'll wipe clean with the first coat of seasoning I apply, correct?

Yes, flash rust is normal.

That's what's thought and just wanted to make certain I didn't need to do a vinegar soaking.
