Seasoned pans color

Most seasoned pans look black but if you look at the stargazer video the pan has a red color to it can any one fill me in on why it is red and not black.
 
I have some pans that have initially come out a reddish brown. After a little use, or a few more rounds of seasoning, they turn black.
 
If you're speaking of the one in the kickstarter video on youtube, because it hasn't got very much of a seasoning built up on it yet. Seasoning is made of polymerized fat which at first browns like cooked food does, and darkens from heat, usage, additional layers, and residual carbon from foods cooked in it.
