seasoning aluminium

I recently bought an aluminium Wearever stick pan. After cleaning it should I season it the same manner that I season CI?

If not, how should I season it?

You can just wipe it down with some type of light oil if you want, but it's not necessary. Once cleaned up, any oxidation removed shouldn't return unless you leave it in a moist/wet environment,

It is a stick pan and I plan on using it. I have looked at other sites and they suggest seasoning it very much like I do CI

I think greasing just before cooking will be sufficient. Iron seasoning is half rust prevention, half creating non-stick coating. On aluminum, especially a stick pan, I think it might actually be counter-productive.

I agree with Doug. Aluminum does not need to be seasoned. Grease it before you use it as if it were an aluminum cake pan. Same thing....aluminum doesn't rust. Pretty sure you will end up with a sticky mess of a pan if you try.
