Single notch #3

Hello, I think I have the cast iron bug. I bought my second piece of cast iron today from a thrift store. Did I do alright? I purchased a single notch #3 for $2.99.

Great price! It looks like the underside of the handle has been welded? Or maybe it's a trick of the light on the small screen of my phone?
