Skillet Identification

Hi! I am new to the forum. Seeking identification to this skillet. Outside heat ring. #9 incised in the top of handle. No other markings. No gate mark. Interior finish is the smoothest I have encountered.

The "smashed" handle reinforcement ridge is like that on skillets some believe to be Blacklock, but the incised size number and lack of molder's marks are inconsistent with those.
