Slow Holiday flea market weekend....

The flea markets were like a ghost town this past weekend. We have 2 within 8 miles in either direction from the house, and I went to both on Saturday and Sunday. I had checked the local antique shops during lunch over the week. So what to do to scratch the CI itch? Buy some online!

I hate the Wapak medallion is in bad shape but it can be seen and now we own one. Maybe someday we will find a nice one that isn't so expensive.
Still waiting on the CI bundt pan.

We got all but the pie logo for users.

I saw some where that someone was building a collection of #3's to try and collect as many different logos as possible. That sounded like a great idea since the 3's are cheaper and easier to display. So the pie is another step in that direction.

Shawn..Those are really clean looking. It's hard to get a bargain online on a clean skillet, did they look like that when you bought them?

Pictures are as received. The Wapak and Wagner are in the lye now. They both have a couple places that I feel could be made a little better. The Lodge and Griswold are ready to go. I am going to give them a round of seasoning.

I can't say they were a "bargain" when you include shipping. We got the Gris for about the same as we paid for our #7 and #9 that we found locally. If we would have found the Wapak and Lodge in the wild, I would have paid the same as we paid online. I've seen several of these go for a lot more than we paid. We paid a little more for the Wagner than I wanted, my wife pulled the trigger on it. We researched what others were sold for on a few different pages and could justify the cost.

I sure can't say that I've never paid over $15 for a skillet.
