Cleaned up a small Lodge that my daughter brought over, had some rust and carbon inside. Came out nice after seasoning. She is happy. That's dad's #1 job, make his kids happy.
1st experience with the new pebble finish. Does that ever build up enough seasoning to slide a sunny side up egg around in it?
 
yep it will get slick. the wife uses a mid sized Basic Essentials (china) pan that we've had for a while to make eggs a couple times a week, i can slip the eggs all over that pan, with just a little bit of butter. its not glassy smooth like a vintage skillet, but it still cooks like one, so im sure if we can do that with a china pan, that Lodge will do the same.
 
Thank you Jeffrey. That will make my daughter happy. She plans to use it to saute veggies and it is a perfect size for a couple of eggs or an omelette.
