"Tea Pot"

I just finished cleaning a "tea pot"/humidifier. It had been painted a couple times, so I stripped the paint with lye and cleaned the rust in my e-tank. It looks great.

My question is, what next? Does it get seasoned just like everything else? Stoveblack? What is normally used for these?

The outside you could season with the same fats as you would a cooking implement, or perhaps mineral oil. The inside on these were typically rust-proofed by the calcium/lime buildup of hard water. You could also boil a large quantity of spent tea bags to get a buildup of tannin.
