My first seasoning attempt I used far less oil than that and the result was a sticky skillet with brown color drip dots and runs down the sides.

CPorter, I have to agree with you Iron mountain, good health. Though Wagner had a few skillets with the same handle style, the pan itself did match any from Wagner.

I would also guess iron mtn and good health, although i am more confident with the good health id, since i use one regularly.

I was so surprised by how much oil she was using that I payed no attention to the skillet itself and missed the fact that is was enameled.
