To buy or not to buy: Toy Skillet, Griswold lid

A couple of finds at local antique stores. First up is a Favorite No. 1 toy skillet. This one is NOT in good shape, but I don't know what condition has to do with toy skillets as I've never considered collecting them. Pics:

$12. My initial guess is no, but I'd like to hear the more experienced chime in.

Next is a Griswold lid. I am looking for something to use with my Erie dutch oven until I stumble upon an actual matching lid. Came across this today. Blue book says $40, and they want $27. Good buy?

Definitely a good deal on the lid. Lids are crazy expensive. I've been looking for a #10 lid at a reasonable price for a while now and am coming up empty. The one you've got pictured goes to a hinged skillet set.

I went ahead and picked up the lid... but unfortunately it doesn't fit my dutch oven. eBay it is! Still on the lookout for something that actually fits. Any ideas on the spider or comments on the Favorite toy?

It's actually a skillet lid (pour spout ears). The Clean-Easy appears to still be in good shape, though. Shame about the Favorite toy skillet damage; you don't see the enameled ones very often.

So I guess I should pass on the toy? Yeah, I knew the lid was a skillet lid, but thought that griswold oven and skillet kids were interchangeable from a size standpoint. Oh well, should fetch more than I have in it on the Bay.
