Today's trash or treasure?

I went to swap meet today and sold a few things taking up space in the garage. A few hours later I took a walk through and seen a few pieces of CI some old and very pitted on the inside. A few 1960 made in USA and Taiwan stuff. Some guy had about 9 skillets most new made to look old, and import. lot of new red rust type look.

In the mix looked like maybe two worth a shot. We couldn't agree on price at first and I started to walk, got new price and told him I'd meet him in the middle.

Here they are some new red rust in the one and dirt covered sawdust on the other. Both kind of a red flag to me but the bottoms looked to have long term cooking in them. So here we are for $13 for the pair.

My thoughts on them BSR and 3 notch lodge? Or junk?

Thanks Steve.

The one on the left in the second picture looks like a BSR to me--very distinctive handle design. They both look old, but cleaning is the way to tell. They don't look like junk anyway, Steven.

It will be awhile before I get them cleaned up. I'll wait till I get one more piece.
They just have to be somewhat a mystery till then. They are small and I had been wanting to add one for myself and I'll see which one I'll keep and pass the other on.

The man only had these two of interest. The others were import that looked watered out side every day for a month to make look old with rust. They definitely had the look to deceive. I do see that on two of the other things I collect, whether in this case of little cash or in the other where it's faked to make thousands. But still the same.
