Too Many Pans

More recent finds. Excludes waffle iron parts etc. Two Ozark skillets , Wagner Ware griddle and junior cornbread, neat 1800s skillet without a heat ring and gate filed smooth, and a bunch of Griswolds. I also have more in the lye tank.

Looks like you did very well for yourself. I like the single pour spout skillet. I just picked up another mid 1800s skillet yesterday. But my eyes were drawn to the fancy handle below the Ozark, lower right corner. Is that a griddle?

I wonder why the world thinks that Americans are extravagant and rich?

I've only got about 300 lbs. of CI hollowware.

Looks like a size 7 griddle. Need to measure it. I just finished seasoning it. It has a 3 dot molder's mark.

I like those Crescent skillets.

I do too. I don't find too many of them. Also were you still looking for this? I just picked it up from a dealer. Not sure if you needed the large or small logo. That was a months ago...

Nice, I just came home with 2 the same from the last auction I attended. :icon_thumbsup:

Yeah. I like the old ornate ones too. I use one as my eveyday griddle.

You need more!

Too Many Pans??? --No such thing.
Where do you live that you can get this much CI?? Madison WI area is pretty much cleaned out or overpriced. Only by luck or ingenuity do I score anything here.

I live in South Texas. Cast iron pickings are sparse out here, but I don't think I have a lot of real competition... other than some pretty clueless ebay resellers, but there's a few knowledgeable antique dealers and collectors... luckily they live at least 50 miles north of me and most of them are getting up there in age.

I agree Tony. What I have found in Madison was pretty sparse and expensive.
