Picked this item up at a thrift store, and I have no idea what it is....a press / mold of some sort? A lead melting pot? It has a cast iron handle and other hardware, screws are flat head so it can't be too new, and the "pot" part appears to be cast aluminum. Has a chip out of the top part (lid) near the pour spout.
