Uneven around inside edge

Why is this uneven around the inside corner.
It is a Martin #8.
I have recently cleaned and seasoned it

Is it the seasoning that is uneven or the skillet itself ?

The skillet itself, I seen it after stripping the old seasoning off

It's just the way it was cast.

I have some Wagners that have what's like a shallow trench the entire perimeter of the cooking surface. May have been some aggressive polish grinding, or something else.
