unknown pan

Usually one single photo is not enough to help in the I.D. of your piece. There are several questions we all are thinking but rather than to just guess more photo's of the back would be a start and some sort of dimensions.

After cleaning the pan I was able to identify the pan as a Wagner style F Gem Pan circa 1902-1910 as found on page 80 in the red book. I was able to get it for $12. I find it an interesting pan and will likely keep it myself.

Comment: I have a similar Griswold gem pan, probably from about the same period of manufacture, but it's handles are not as graceful in design. I seem to remember seeing info. suggesting this style pan was made for baking brownies. My hubby and I just refer to it as the golf ball pan. Now I suppose I'll have to try making brownies in mine again--it's been a long time, but I think that worked before. (In cooking, I'm ever hopeful.)
