Unmarked skillet with scoop hollow in handle

I brought a skillet that is unmarked and weighs 5 pounds, it does have the number nine on the handle and the handle is not reinforced with a pad. This pan pan is larger than my :-) favorite which is a number 9 and the walls are a little thicker but it only weighs 8 ounces more surprisingly. Does anybody have a clue as to its maker or origin?

That's what I thought because its not heavy, it does have a serious casting flaw on the inner surface(its a uneven in a lumpy way in an oval spot) but its very smooth otherwise, a good cooker. It should have a reinforced pad at handle perhaps. Otherwise that scoop handle isn't seen outside the first series ERIE I guess.

Thank you for your information. I read descriptions and charts and they sometimes get me confused a bit, I thought it was not a given from the charts but wasn't sure. The weight of a pan is very important so this being 5 pounds seems to be within the range for an older #9 despite the thicker looking walls.
