Unmarked Wagner Ware Square Skillet

One of my favorite pieces of CI. It gets used almost daily. Been told it's an unmarked piece of Wagner Ware. It's kind of unique with the spelling of skillet. SKILLLT. Just and error? Intentional? Any thoughts? Maybe a one of a kind :|

The thumb indent looks like my Wagner Original pans. I think they were made it the 80s.....but they have seasoning instructions on the bottom of the pans, so maybe not?

The early Wagner "flared handle with thumbrest" differs from the later "1891 Original" handles in that the latter's ends are rounded while the former's are flat. As to the SKILLLT, incised markings in cast iron are made from raised areas on the inside of the sand mold, and if mishandled during separation and reassembly, damage could occur. Only if the "error" is widely seen across many pieces can we assume the defect is in one of the patterns.
