I'm looking at an unmarked Wagner chicken fryer and lid, just wondering how much I should offer to pay.

As they say, condition is everything. Excellent is worth more than average or poor. Will you be able to inspect it in person for warpage, cracks, or pitting from rust or sulphur? Absent any of those types of damage or defect, and if from the era when polish grinding was still being done, and if the lid is a true match, probably $25-50. (The lower end if you have to refurb it yourself, the higher if ready to use.)

No its an online auction....looks good in pictures, but understand pictures can be decieving. Thinking about going to about $30.

I both a bsr with no lid at flea market for$12,few weeks later at same flea market got a Wagner ware smooth bottom pretty crusty for $12 ,

Picked up a Crescent foundry No.8 Chicken fryer, with Lid, a few weeks ago for $30.


I don't eat chicken, but I'm sure I'll find something good to cook in it..
