Value of old hinged broiler?

I found a few good pieces this weekend. Picked up a #8 Lodge square skillet and a Pittypats #3 at a flea market. A few stops later and we got a bundle deal on 3 pieces. First was a raised 8, gated mystery southern skillet. It was priced and I have a good idea of value. Then the shop owner let us pick through his dirty pieces in the back room. We got a 12in BSR coal lid and a hinged broiler.

I bought the coal lid for an old spider skillet I have, but it doesn't fit. I'm thinking about selling it. The hinged broiler is marked "RUSSELLS PATENT, APRIL 9 1876". I'm trying to get a value on both pieces so I can come up with a selling price for the lid. He didn't put a price on the lid or the broiler, just a price on all 3. Whats a good selling price on the lid?

It very simple Total what you paid (-) skillet marked (=) lid and broiler,half of that is the price of lid,and the other half is the broiler's price. Don't work hard,work smart.
 
The math works great to figure what I paid, just don't know what they are worth. I know, "What ever someone is willing to pay".

I'm thinking the broiler is worth more than the lid. If I sold the lid for half what I paid, I would be coming out good. But if the lid is worth more, I've got a broiler that I paid too much for. It's just kind of the way I try to reason things out.

Thanks for the info Jeffrey. The broiler is a unique piece, think I'll hold on to it for a while.

I have a guy interested in the BSR lid if I want to get rid of it. Trying to decide if I want to hold on to it in case I find a BSR camp oven or spider skillet. I have plenty(not BSR) and I don't really need any more. Is $40-45 about the going rate for coal lids this size? I'm thinking it could go for more than that in an online auction.
