Vollrath

Vollraths will have an outside heat ring, a very long reinforcement rib under the handle, and the hanging hole at the end of the handle has a "stretched" look to it. The marked ones are obviously easier to ID than the unmarked. All will have any markings on the bottom oriented 90° right of the typical skillet.

My mother uses an unmarked #8 vollrath and I personally believe it is one of the finest pans I have used. It is smooth as glass and I love the handle, which I think is a little bigger than a griswold. I would put it up against any of my griswolds and would love to find one on a good deal.(under 15 bucks) Just my two cents...
