Waffle iron chart

I'm confused about the waffle iron chart. I'm looking for a high base for my Griswold American #8. I was told that the base I need is either a 153 or 155. But there's a second chart with a #8 listed, and it gives a different set of numbers as corresponding bases. Please help me understand the 2 charts so I don't make a mistake. Thanks!

Which base(s) go with your set of irons depends on the pattern number(s) on the irons. Find yours in the "Pans" columns.
 
Ahhh, I see! Now that you point it out, I see my paddles have 151 on them. Where on a base should I look for the number? I've seen some on eBay, but I haven't seen a pattern number displayed.
