Waffle Iron

Picked up this waffle iron from a friend , it belonged to her mother and possibly a family heirloom . Don’t see many of these , best I can date it is between 1873-85. Selden & Griswold American

Unique pattern ....kinda like a spider web, lol.....they are prob that old as you say.
