Wagner 2 Quart with Glass Lid

Wagner Ware 2 Quart with glass lid, and I almost lost it as a fellow customer, who was eagle eyeing me and following me around, hoping I was going to set it down. Not sure if they wanted the cast iron or the depression glass pitcher in my hands. I almost didn't look at it, since it had a glass lid and I didn't know they made them with glass lids. Note: Ended up breaking the darn pitcher(Manhattan).

Any idea on age? I was thinking in the 60's.
Any idea value, not planning on selling it, just wondering if I got a deal($9), no chips in lid?

Was actually sold as a "covered bean pot". Maybe as late as the 80s.

I actually found out this is from the 1891 series. I plan on using this pot for sauces.
