Wagner Fat Free Fryer

I saw one of these yesterday (Wednesday). I hadn't seen one before so I wanted to find out a bit more about it. As I suspected, the fat from cooking drains off to the channel around the OD. The BB, page 241, indicates the one I saw is 1970 - 1980s but is more valuable that the ones with the same 1102 number from the 1940s. The handle shape is a bit different. Even older ones, circa 1938, were marked Greaseless Frying Pan. Anyone know why the most recent is more valuable that the 1940s version? Maybe I'll get it today if I convince myself it's a good deal.

There was also a Wagner Square Skillet but I think I'll pass on that for now. ($)

Confusing captions and photo positions aside, I think the BB authors (or proofreaders) are in error in that there shouldn't have been any pieces marked with a stylized logo that included the "Sidney -O-" made in the 1970s to 1980s. The version shown in the RB pg. 48 is what would have been made in that time frame.
