Wagner No.9 lid on a Griswold No.9 DO bottom pan

I have a busted Wagner No 9 bottom DO but a beautiful lid. I am wondering if a Griswold No. 9 bottom pan is interchangeable i.e. would the existing Wagner lid fit tight on the Griswold bottom of a No. 9 DO? Thanks for any assistance.

Dimensions for the nominal sizes were not necessarily consistent across all makers. Although it's entirely possible they may coincidentally fit. You'd have an easier time if it was a #8; far more of those still in circulation.

I was wondering, since I dont have a lid, would a #9 cover fit a #9 skillet?
