Wagner Ware Collectable?

I couldn't pass up this 1920s soda bottle case. I only collect local soda items, but I justified this one because it goes with my Wagner Ware cast iron. Not sure if my logic is sound, but it's still neat.

Maybe it's the way I shared the image... The problem with collecting too many different things is you start justifying things that really don't go together.

This one is less of a stretch. There has to be a distant family relation with the this one. The John Wagner and Sons Brewing Co. from Sidney, Ohio. Too bad it has a lip chip from the cork being pried out with a ice pick.

I'm sure by now you've seen this, right? http://www.shelbycountyhistory.org/schs/industry/beer.htm

John Wagner came to Sidney, Ohio, from Columbiana County in 1859 to pursue the trade of a candle maker. He was the brother of Mathias Wagner, the father of the four men who founded Wagner Manufacturing Company and many other businesses in Sidney. Mr. Wagner's interest lay in the brewery business.

Neat. No... not that I can remember. If I did I quickly forgot. When I saw the bottle, I thought it would be too much of a coincidence that two Wagners in a small town owned large businesses.
