Found this and I have not seen anything like it. I have GOT to clean it up. I seen (barely visible) under all the crust it says "patent pending".....any information????

Does this skillet have a hinge tab? It looks like it might be half of a double skillet set. If it says 1102 it might be.

I did not see any tabs on it...and I could not see any numbers on it.

I came across one of those a while back. It's half of a two piece set, one part is a regular depth skillet, and the other is a sort of shallower skillet/lid. A novel concept that probably made a nice gift. Cool find!
