I am tring to post pics of this pan, its my first time trying to post pics. I don't think it worked, so bear with me. Im learning as I go!

I think I got it this time? I hope so. Any ways, I got this pan for $30, it was in really rough shape laying on the floor of an antique shop floor. The guy gave me a slight discount on it. I cleaned it up using only a SOS pad and some elbow grease. I have been using it ever since. Its my favorite pan out of the 60 or so that I have. I was just wondering.....is it rare for a Wapak to have a gate mark? I have never saw one from all the pics I have seen of them. Im a newbie too tho. Also, any idea of to the age? Im assuming its one of their first years made. Thanks!

A genuine Wapak would not be bottom gated. What's on this pan, however, looks like a sag in the sand mold.

Good call Doug . That's what I was going to say . Although it seems in a pretty straight line , it doesn't look like a gate mark .

Which is all the better , as it's not a recast . It's a real Wapak . That's a nice find . I just recently found my first Wapak . A block logo #7 that's in very nice shape (after a soak in the E-tank , a scrubbing and 4 rounds of seasoning) .

How about a picture?

Here you go Donna . I got around to taking a few photos this morning . Wapak #7 block logo I picked up at a small indoor flea market
recently for $17 . It cleaned up pretty well .
