warped griddle

My mother-in-law has been following my new hobby with great interest as she grew up on a farm and depended on cast iron.
She gave me this griddle that she says was her grandmothers, so it's pretty old. Any help identifying is appreciated, but really I need to know if there is anything I can do to straighten it. The bottom is warped. I do not plan to strip it.
Thanks,
Carlton

There's no straightening cast iron. Unless you melt it down and start over. This is actually what's known as a sad iron heater, and would have been dropped into two stove eyes after a bridging piece between them was removed. In that situation, the warp wasn't likely an issue.
