Well... I Got to See Some Interesting Pieces Today

Some nice pieces there! I am glad that I wasn't there or I probably would have dropped some money, especially for that #5 slant Griswold with the heat ring, unless it was really, rally pricy!!

I tried to take notes on the selling prices on some of the pieces.
there was a #20 that went for $1525
the 13 went for $1275
a #4 slant/erie heat ring went for about $300
a #2 went for $275
the #5 went for $135
an 11 and 12 big logo with heat rings went for like $325 each.
the heart and star #100 went for right around $300
they had three or four tables with various pans on each table then did the bidding for 'choice' on one table until they were all gone. It was kind of hard to keep track of which pans were on which table. The first table had the #20, the #13 and the #2... when the bidding went to $1500 everyone assumed he was going after the 13... but he went up and picked the 20...

I didn't write down the price for the spider skillet... but I seem to recall that it was just under $2k... $1890 or so.
and the rectangular loaf pan, I think it went for around $350

Wow. This shows you what some of this stuff is going for. I have found patience to be my best friend. I have some of the mentioned pieces and paid a fraction of that by waiting for a different opportunity. I'm not bragging, but if you wait and don't mind the hunt, you can find some great deals.
