What’s Up with This Wagner Handle?

I went ahead and bought this pan even though the handle seemed a little sketchy. However, everything else seemed normal. There is… kind of a bump where the handle meets the sidewall. It just doesn’t look like the typical handle. I have the same size pan, marked, handle looks standard. This one, unmarked, looks a little different.

Also, does anyone else see some phantom lettering on the Lodge pan? (Third Photo).
