What do I have?

I know this is an older pan, but any guesses on how old, or maker? The molders mark has an upside down 8. It's a lightweight pan I found in an old barn. Any help is appreciated.

I think you have an import.

The old bottom gated pans with spouts and handles like that are never going to be able to be identified as to maker unless a name or obvious initials of a known maker is spelled out on them. It's probably mid-19th century. If an "import", it probably came over from somewhere in Europe on a boat with someone, but just as likely of domestic origin.
