Hi Again!
Up until today I have never had any luck at a yard sale. Last night I just happened to check Craigslist for cast iron and I stumbled on an ad for a yard sale; when I read what was offered an item jumped out at me, “cast iron skillets”. It peaked my interest as I thought the average person would have called them frying pans, so I went there this morning and I was very pleasantly surprised and shocked at what I saw!
Here is what came home with me:
1.) a #12 Griswold skillet, in fantastic shape (a little brother for my #14)
2.) a Griswold square egg skillet, with a mistake in the markings as the letter ‘E’ was left off the word ‘SQUARE’
3.) a #3 Wagner skillet, with the Wagner Ware pie logo
4.) my first piece of Favorite Piqua Ware, a #3 skillet
The hunt continues and the addiction just gets worse!!
