Yellow stains

Hello,
I'm new here and don't know if this is the right place to ask this but here goes. I season my cast iron in the oven in the kitchen and I'm getting some yellowing on the door. Of course my wife doesn't like it but does anyone have any idea what I could use to remove it?. I don't want any abrasives like baking soda because of the finish.
Thank you, Steve

The hot oil and smoke cool off on the door and you see the yellowing. Keep doing it in her oven and it will get darker and you will have to find another place to season, in your own oven. Yup, just like me.

Attach a photo if you would. Yes it will clean off the sooner the better for your sake.

You will be banned from her kitchen, if you do not get it cleaned off. :ROFLMAO: Just like I was. But the good thing is I have my own building, with my own oven to stink up and get dirty.
Oven cleaner will take it off.
