Biscuits and Gravy

Made a good American breakfast for the 4th. Biscuits in my unmarked #8, and gravy in my Wagner Arc #10. Only the second time I've attempted buttermilk biscuits, pretty happy with the result.

Lookin’ very good. The Bryson City Cathead Biscuits below: http://www.castironcollector.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2237 are so good I can’t put gravy on all of them. I’ll put gravy on one but I have to have another next to it with two dabs of butter. Don’t even add jam until the last bite. Biscuits, gravy like yours and an egg or two is a hearty satisfying meal.

Will have to try that sometime. Mine were made with butter -- I'm sure lard would make them even better.
