No, just an amateur home cook but I have a passion for it, been working a long time to develop my skills and each meal is another opportunity to learn something. I'm sure in a place like this full of cast iron enthusiasts, there's a bunch of great cooks here.
Yep, it worked. Now I'm hungry again! Thanks for sharing. I love the inspiration I've discovered here; it's nice to know real home cooks still exist.:tasty:
Another great dish, Im a little behind commenting all the great foods being posted.
I feel a bit more comfortable in the cooking area still. Harder to comment in depth on some of the wonderful iron shown when I'm still on big leaning curve myself.
Eric I like how you showed it in stages as you Were making it. It dose look tasty and very soon the weather here will cool down some and I can get back in the kitchen, and hopefully post some of the ones I haven't made in awhile including some new ones I've been wanting to try.
Eric,
Your skillet handle holder looks like it's leather(?) What is it and where did you get it? I think I need one. I was going to have a neighbor sew a regular potholder in half and use that, but yours looks much nicer and maybe even more heatproof.
