Chicken breasts with ribs were on sale for a buck a lb. so I said to my SO to get 2 or 3 breasts as they are a lb.@ or more. She thought I meant 2 or 3 packages. At least she only got two packages. What to do with an extra 3.5 lbs of chicken on short notice?

Chicken Cacciatora. I failed on presentation but I got that first bite with my eyes while it was in the skillet. Look out freezer!

How it looks on the plate isn't half as good as the taste on the palate. The eye cannot be satisfied as the mouth can be sated.
 
If the first bite, which is with the eyes makes me drool, I really looking forward to for the second bite. If I'm still drooling after the second bite I've got me one of those 1 in a hundred winners!

This plate is missing some olives:icon_thumbsup:
 
Monday night leftovers.



The olives were real good. They did dominate the other flavors when a piece was included in a bite, which probably would not have been the case if introduced in the original cooking. Must decide if this dish needs another flavor as it already has a whole lot of mixed flavors.
