MD, I showed your display to my SO. She was impressed. Or should I say blown away. So I asked her how many pieces of cast iron we have and she replied; "About 20." When I explained it is more like 50 that got her again. Sometimes it counts how well one can hide it too! We like your display.

I think that is early BSR I see some of the ashtrays handles have that groove on the bottom side of them. I have a picture in an article somewhere I'll have to see if I can find it.

I cant find the article I had spoke of but I did find the pan. the grove is on the top of the handle and its an advertising piece not an ashtray. although you could use the groove to hold your cigarette.

BSR catalogs called this an Ash Tray/Spoon Holder. They were available in master quantities of 30 or 200.
