Favorite Skillet but Which Maker?

A recent find that I’m still cleaning. The “Favorite” and “ware” match photos of Favorite Piqua Ware but there is no “Piqua”. And the bottom ring doesn’t seem to match. All the pictures of Ohio Favorite skillets seem to say “The Favorite”. Anybody familiar with this?
The cooking surface is quite pitted too. I’m not sure if that can be fixed. Ideas?

This Favorite is Canadian. They are also seen with "C&C" (Chown & Cunningham) inscribed at center.

If you haven't read this page on the castironcanada site... you should... very interesting 'coincidences' between the canadian 'favorite' and ohio 'favorite'... including the logo.
