Fried Green Tomatoes

Hmmm... I wonder how fried tomatillos would taste?

The weatherman says it is going to freeze soon so I picked all the tomatoes off the vine in my front yard. They were so good. :glutton:

Fried green tomatoes are pretty are summer time staple here. We use cornmeal instead of bread crumbs for the crunch.

I mixed seasoned bread crumbs with part of a box of Jiffy corn muffins. I wish I had more tomatoes but I used the last one.
