Griswold 1830 Stove & 260 Cake Griddle

I've been working on this for a while now. It was a lucky Marketplace find that was in sad condition,
and had been stored in a church basement for many years.

Both the griddle and frame were given a lengthy soak in a lye bath to remove the majority of
grease and paint, then into the e-tank for what was left.

The steel frame, gas manifolds and the new feet were finished with multiple coats of high heat primer & paint.
The griddle was way too big to season in the oven, so it was done 1/2 at a time on my gas grill.
Not ideal, bit it was all that I had.

In the end, it's not perfect by any stretch, but it was a fun experience and I'm glad that I had
the opportunity to revive a little bit of cooking history.
