I couldn’t find these in the BB, are they in the RB? Mine hasn’t arrived yet. I know the base is incorrect but did these ever come with handles like this?
mine has short little black wooden handles (which I didn't seem to take any pics of)... but they are only about 4 inches long and have a shape to them.. .not just straight pieces of wood... and my base is the 975 base.
Catalogs from the early 1910s show them all with the stubby, unturned, black painted wood dowel handles. The turned ones likely fall between them and the coiled. By the mid-1920s, they're all shown with the coil handles.
