Found this marked corn bread A stick pan.

Pan is in such good shape I'm suspect, but its purty!

The " blacklock" I have features a nice raised 7 on top of handle, INSET heat ring, a raised I @ 6:00, & a small incised D (?) at 2:00. Large lips, thin wall, smooth cooking surface. Suppose to have outside heat ring? Transitional ?

Heres the single notch 7 i found nested in the above skillet. I like 7s better than 8s.

Been having a blast sharing some of my finds, while improving my smart phone skills. I think quality cutlery go hand in hand with cast iron. Thanks to all for interest in thread!

After a little cleaning! Not a mark @ 2, inclusion?

The Bowie on Wagner ware griddle is O-1 tool steel & micarta made by me.Its easy to learn but takes time, patience, & resolve. First knife should allways be a paring knife!

All I found today was a couple bsr pans & a wusthof knife. Kinda anticlimactic . Guess I'll work on yesterdays finds.

Saw an ad for cast iron for sale...called, got there 3rd. Bought 20 pieces @ $10 each. All were solid orange rust messes.:-P

Scrubbed oiled baked....smoked up the house!!

SOLD a bunch for about $500, BUT kept a slant Griswold, "Erie", Griswold trivet, Wagner chicken pot, and an awesome Griswold griddle. Still have a gypsy cauldron...$150 - $350 on value!!

Love garage sales...estate sales, and online ads!!

Lodge square skillet & U.S. cooks knife. Most excellent knife for a lot of tasks!
