My wife and I picked this up at an auction without knowing anything about it because it looks awesome. There are no company names on it only different numbers on the different parts. The handle is the only thing that's not cast iron on it. The grates on it and can be flipped upside down and used to get your food a little bit further from the heat. The legs are all on the same plate that is bolted to the base. If you take the legs off the grill would have no bottom. I hope that makes sense. I cannot seem to find anything like it online anywhere. It's about a 12" diameter. Any information about what brand it is or what it's worth would be greatly appreciated 20220812_161401.jpg20220812_161354.jpg

The castings for the lid and body both look like they started out as dutch ovens. BSR made a "camp grill" that was essentially a camp oven pot with its normal legs and bail handle, supplied with a grill grate that looks quite like this one's. As with the one seen here, its grate's legs allowed it to "hang" from the rim or be elevated above it. Atlanta Stove Works, sister company of BSR, made the "Cue-Grill" whose base also looks like the one seen here. and BSR another whose handles are identical to the one on yours. Educated guess says BSR/ASW had something to do with yours. What numbers are on the parts?

No no no, these are terrible. Radioactive even. Send these to me ASAP for ahem ... ahem Proper safe disposal. Better not even touch them or look at them till then.

Thats awesome! Kinda like a round Sportsmans Grill. I for one have never seen a round one. Lodge makes a Kickoff Grill I think is what its called, same idea kinda. Thanks for the pics and have fun with it this summer!

Yeah, I was thinking that too, that its like a Weber grill. I have a fullsize one and a table top one, this is about what this CI looks like to me. An early version maybe.
