Nope, not on mine. I have a little Franklin stove in my farm cabin that we cook on. No oven and you fire it at the bottom.:icon_thumbsup:

I hereby admit my last two posts were wrong - although under protest. The name is the same but not the design concept of the original Franklin in this all purpose stove that is not built like a cooking stove either. The smell faded.
