Saw this Lodge chef skillet at an auction. What would be a reasonable bid? It looks like an interesting piece of CI to have. I have never seen one before.

I didn't see any on eBay without the assist handle ... but there is one like yours on Etsy for $50. I think Etsy is usually high with the prices.
 
Thanks, I will bid on it and see what happens. Since no one has bid yet, I will start low and then see what happens. Is there any idea what years they were made. There is no markings on the bottom. It does have a heat ring with 3 notches.
 
It looks exactly like my Lodge. Mine is post 1960 with "MADE IN USA" in the center. It has CS at twelve o'clock and H at six o'clock. Mine was before the assist tab and the inside was polished more than the outside. I found it at an antique store for only 4 bucks. It was one of those stores where junk is piled up inside and out. I found a glass lid at Goodwill and it's one of my users now.
