New find in Wapakoneta Ohio

Yesterday my wife and I made a day trip to Wapakoneta Ohio. We went to visit family but did get to stop at one antique store. Mostly found over priced or Taiwan CI. But in the middle of a stack in a far corner of the store. I found what I consider a keeper. It is a #7 Favorite Piqua Ware / Miami Diamond dual logo. It looks exactly like the one pictured here in the gallery. It sits flat and doesn't spin, No cracks, No chips. It has a couple very small tool marks on the otherwise glasslike cooking surface. I would take a pic but my camera sucks.
I paid $34 dollars for it, and feel pretty good about it.
I asked the store owner if she had any Wapak indian logo pans and she said "Sure right under this sack of hens teeth" HAHAHA
Oh Well, I still love my new skillet.

Here's a full set of Wapak Indians belonging to a friend of mine in MS. They all have price tags on them, but they hang too high up to see what's on them. Pretty sure they're all the "I don't want to sell it" price, though.

Those are nice Doug. I haven't locked in on any brand to collect yet. Right now I'm just trying to get one of each size quality pan. This is my first #7.

Nice find, Tony! I've been looking for a #7 like my grandmother's for a couple of years. At least around here, #7s are not very common. I see lots of 3, 5, 6 and 8, but that's about it.

Tony, I don't think that #7s are that rare, but it seems like in some parts of the country there are differing levels of availability for specific items. A fluke? Does anyone else have a thought about the "availability" thing? By the way, that Favorite Piqua pan sounds like a great find! I might have gone for it if I'd seen it, even at the price you paid, and I am notoriously cheap (partly because almost all my CI came from yard sales in the 1980's and 90's). It's nice to know the goodies are still floating around out there, and I congratulate you on your find!
