No Name Bean Pot & Chicken Fryer - Possible BSR?

I picked up a few interesting finds recently, and this pair have me stumped. I am leaning toward BSR, but I have not seen examples with this heavy lip detail before. I believe this would be called a bean pot and a chicken fryer, and they share the lid. Lid is perfectly smooth inside, no drip basters.

This little groove on the lid handle, does that mean they used the "hinged" style mold?

Here's what they looked like before cleaning:


These pieces cleaned up really well, and they are quite heavy but pretty smooth. No markings at all other than "No 1" on the chicken fryer. I'm leaning toward BSR, but I've not seen any with this design before.

Looks like 3 pieces of the Blankenship combo cooker.

Wow, yep that looks like the one! I don't see any mention of a regular lid in the patent description, interesting. Did Mr. Blankenship work for a foundry or pattern maker? I can't find much info on him.
