Yeah, thus my chuckle smiley. I suspect the pattern was pressed into the sand twice, a bit off-register.

Got a nice #5 SBL Griswold today for $5, and a generic pre"Made in USA" for $3 (one of those that say "10 1/2 Inch Skillet" in a serif font... isn't that unmarked Wagner?)

Yes, an unmarked Wagner had a "typewriter font" with no abbreviations. Nice finds.

Well... scratch the one "good" find of the day. That #5 SBL, once the grunge was removed, shows "pink iron"... a sure sign that some poor misinformed soul tried to clean it by fire. I'm not just talking about a little pink, either... maybe 50% of it is discolored. Glad I'm only out $5.
