This morning I went to a yard sale. Take a look at what I found! It's an Erie 10 and in such great shape, I'm thinking twice about using it. It is completely flat, no wave or wobble whatsoever. The white spots are just dirt that wipes off. I paid $150. Can you tell me when it was made?

Like a needle in a haystack! I love these pans too. I have a #9 with the chalice makers mark. You really found a great one.....the size is good for cooking anything almost, and its in REALLY good shape! Nice score!

Thank you. It was a really lucky find. Whoever had it last used something to season it that gives off a sort of rancid smell, so I will have to find a way to deal with that, but it looks like it will become a favorite pan very quickly. It's still hard to believe my luck today.
